When you come to visit the Delaware River Towns, don't forget this little gem...just up the river!
STOCKTON, NJ - About a 7 minute drive from Downtown Lambertville and a 7 mile bike ride round-trip from Lambertville, Stockton is a beautiful little river town nestled in the Delaware River Valley.
You've got quite a few burger, sandwich or cheesesteak options up the road in Stockton. Stockton General Store is a great stop for breakfast if you head up the towpath early on in the day. You can also grab lunch, refreshments or snacks before continuing on your journey. Gabarelly's from Chef Brian Held is also great for delicious cheesesteaks & burgers.
Just up the road around the bend on Route 29 is another great lunch spot called Cravings which is under new ownership and has new offerings on their menu.
Another great combo would be to order dinner to go from the Rosemont Supper Club and before heading home you can stop next door and try Odd Bird Brewery where you can grab a nice cold beer.
A visit to Stockton wouldn't be complete without taking the tow path a little further up to the the grounds of the Prallsville Mills. Stockton even has their very own Wine & Spirits store where you can grab a nice bottle of wine for your BYOB dinner at Via Ponte. Finish off your day of eating & exploring with a night or two at the historic Woolverton Inn!
If you'd like to cross the bridge into Pennsylvania, you may want to also check out The Inn at Centre Bridge or Dilly's Corner also!
The Stockton Inn will be reopening in the Fall of 2023!
